Setting up a php runtime environment at high speed

There are a lot of WAMP-type software, and basically they are free of charge, such as XAMPP. what we want to introduce here today is-WAMP Server, right! It is called WAMP!

LAMP is an abbreviation. it refers to a group of well-known free open-source software that is usually used together to run dynamic websites or servers, including: Linux operating system and Apache Web server; mySQL database management system (or database server); PHP and sometimes Perl or Python scripting language. The first letter of each name is used to form the word LAMP. Similarly, using these software combinations in Windows is called WAMP.

Although these open-source code programs are not specifically designed to work with other programs, they are all open-source software that has a great impact on Web servers, as a result, these components are often used together. Over the past few years, the compatibility of these components has been constantly improved, and the application of these components has become more common. They have created some extension functions to improve the collaboration between different components. Currently, these products are included by default in almost all Linux releases. The Linux operating system, Apache Server, MySQL database, and Perl, PHP, or Python language constitute a powerful Web application platform.

Double-click the downloaded file (which is available below). The installation page is displayed, indicating that you want to uninstall the old WAMP and then install the new version.

Select "yes" to start the installation. Next, and select the installation directory. we recommend that you use the default address.

After the installation is complete, an icon is displayed.

When running, a white icon with a highlighted red icon will appear on the tray. However, it is a bird language by default. Don't worry. this is a multi-language. Right-click the tray icon-language-Chinese to change to the Chinese version.

Switch to simplified Chinese. click the icon to start all services.

The icon is white.

Note: If Apache cannot be started, first exit the software that uses port 80 and start workstation and DNS hosts address (generally wamp \ bin \ apache \ bin \ httpd.exe ).

Now let's take discuz as an example. let's test it. before Discuz is installed, we need to set it up a little. Php-php settings-check the short open tag.

Download Discuz, decompress it, copy all the files in the upload folder of discuz to the www directory of wamp, and access http: // localhost/upload/install/index in the browser. php, then the discuz installation interface will appear. click I agree-check passed, and the following will appear:

Follow the settings above for the database username and password. The following is the Discuz administrator username. you can click "enter the password and proceed to the next step ". The installed page will appear! We have successfully established a forum on the Windows host. The overall steps are very simple.
