Sharedpreferences can be used in either of the following ways:
1. sharedpreferences = getsharedpreferences (string pref, int mode );
The Pref parameter indicates the name of the created file. You can use the Pref parameter to sdcard data/application.ProgramXML file found under the package name
The mode parameter indicates the object access permission. Generally, activity. mode_private is used. There are actually four modes. The last three modes are not available for any purpose.
Activity. mode_append; similar to the IO operation in Java, add content to the end of the file rather than overwrite the file.
Activity. mode_world_readable; all applications can read
Activity. mode_world_writeable; all applications can write
2. sharedpreferences = preferencemanager. getdefasharsharedpreferences (context );
The context parameter indicates the application context.
conclusion: the advantage of the first method is that there can be multiple preference files in the same application, while the second method uses only one file by default (the pattern is activity. mode_private)
