Sip on Android

Candidates:

Linphone is a mature cross-platform sip mobile phone, but its Android version has just come out, but it does not support video calls yet. The underlying library is exosip. Open-source running on the simulator allows you to call and receive calls without voice, but the status becomes connected.

 

Sipdroid is also open-source and mature and supports video calls. The mjsip library is used. The simulator prompts: Not suitable data network.

 

Imsdroid supports video calls. The underlying database is doubango. Simulated prompt: network not activi.

 

The doubango database is not just a sip database, as shown below:

The framework is written in ANSI-C to portable portability and has been carefully designed to efficiently work on embedded systems with limited memory and low computing power and to be extremely portable.

 

The Open-Source SIP protocol stacks that we have learned currently include:

Limitations of simulators:

 

In this release, the limitations of the emulator include:

• No support for placing or locking ing actual phone cals. You can simulate phone CALS (placed and stored ed) through the emulator console, however.
• No support for USB connections
• No support for camera/video capture (input ).
• No support for device-attached headphones
• No support for determining connected state
• No support for determining battery charge level and AC charging state
• No support for determining SD card insert/eject
• No support for Bluetooth
