Strange ThinkPHP problems with deleting database records

Source: Internet
Author: User
I used ThinkPHP to delete database records.
M ('data')-> where ('User = xiaoming ')-> delete ();
Delete a record where the user in the data table in the database is xiaoming. However, I find that this statement is not executed and cannot be deleted. However, if I change the user name to a number, this record can be deleted. what's wrong with it.

If you directly enter the delete statement in mysql, the user can be deleted no matter whether the user is a number or a letter.

Use single quotes to enclose xiaoming. user = 'xiaoming'

Done. use

M ('data')-> where (array ('user' => 'qiguai')-> delete ();
Or
M ('data')-> where ("user = 'xiaoming'")-> delete ();
Yes
