SVN under CentOS Force user to write log when submitting

Source: Internet
Author: User

Problem:
Do not write a log at the time of project submission, and you need to compare versions to see the reason for submission later when reviewing the revision history.
Solution:
In the SVN server, the write log is forced upon submission by hooks.
#!/bin/sh
Repos= "$"
Txn= "$"

Svnlook=/usr/bin/svnlook

logmsg= ' $SVNLOOK log-t "$TXN" $REPOS "| grep "[A-za-z0-9]" | Wc-c '
If ["$LOGMSG"-lt 10];
Then
echo "Please enter the update log for file modification, otherwise the submission fails!!!" "1>&2
Exit 1
Fi

Save the above code as PRE-COMMIT and set the permission to 755 to place this file under the Hooks directory of the SVN repository, such as:/data/svn/develop/
