Ice Cream Sandwiches (Android 4.0) mark an important milestone in Android design. We designed almost every pixel in the system, expanded the design of the honeycomb plate and applied it to all mobile devices. Starting with the most basic elements, we have introduced new Roboto fonts and enhanced the design for high-resolution display devices. Other major changes include system framework-level action bars and new devices that support the absence of physical keys.
We focus on the design of core applications and the entire system in three main goals. When you design an application for the Android platform, consider these goals:
Make people immersed in
Beauty is more than skin. Android apps have a sense of fashion and affinity at multiple levels. The dynamic effect runs smoothly and clearly, and the layout and typesetting are more concise and meaningful. The application icon is more artistic. Like a well-made tool, your application should be combined with beauty, simplicity and purpose to create a magical user experience.
Simplifying life
Android apps make life easier and easier to understand. When people use your application for the first time, they should be able to intuitively understand the most important features, design work needs to consider this. Android apps handle day-to-day chores like file management and synchronization, and simple tasks never require complex steps, and complex tasks should be tailored to the user's hand and brain. So that everyone can feel control, do not let users have too many options or irrelevant information.
That's amazing.
Just making apps easy for people to use is far from enough. The Android application should allow the user to try and allow the program to be used in a new way. Android allows people to combine with applications to create new workflows through multitasking, notification reminders, and application sharing. At the same time, with exquisite technology, clear and elegant sense of people's needs.
Design principles
These design principles are based on the Android user Experience team in the best interests of the user. When you are designing ideas for Android applications, consider them so that they do not deviate from the design intent.
