NX9.0.0 for Linux installation.
Ubuntu (ubuntukylin14.04) Installation UG9.0 Tutorial
Detailed installation method: (Follow my steps terminal command can copy and paste directly)
1. Installation of UG There are several software is required, java,tcsh,ksh,lsb.
Installation method: Java directly with Ubuntu Software Center Search Java, try to install a high version.
Tcsh,ksh, LSB with terminal mount (ctrl+alt+t open terminal)
sudo apt-get install libstdc++5 tcsh ksh LSB
2. Mount the downloaded IMG file. (Non-IMG files are not mounted, starting from step 3rd)
Mount method: Input in Terminal
cd/mnt; sudo mkdir ugs090; Mount-o Loop/File is located on the path/siemens. nx.9.0.0.linux64.img/mnt/ugs090
3. Modify the Hosts file
sudo gedit/etc/hosts
Add two lines as below
127.0.0.1 localhost (comes with)
127.0.1.1 here is the name of your computer (bring your Own)
127.0.0.1 the same as the computer name above (added)
127.0.0.1 and the computer name above should be the same as localhost (added)
The rest, whatever. Remember to save
4. It is important to change the this_host in Splm6.lic in the downloaded file to a computer name.
5. Create a folder. Inside the terminal.
To create a directory:
sudo mkdir/mnt/ugs090/usr/siemens/usr/siemens/plmlicenseserver/usr/siemens/ugs090
sudo chown user name/usr/tmp #如果原先不存在tmp的话需要先创建tmp
sudo chmod 755/usr/tmp
6. Copy the splm6.lic to the/usr/siemens/plmlicenseserver
In the terminal, enter the directory where Splm6.lic is located and
sudo cp-r splm6.lic/usr/siemens/plmlicenseserver
7. Install the server
cd/mnt/ugs090; sudo./splmlicenseserver_v6.1.1_linux_setup.bin
Follow the prompts step-by-step installation. When asked for a license file, manually point to/usr/siemens/plmlicenseserver/splm6.lic. Until the installation is complete.
8. Installing UG
cd/mnt/ugs090/nx090; sudo./ug_install
Appear
1. UG installation type. _____________________ [Load+configure]
2. SOURCE directory. _______________________[/MNT/UGS090/NX090]
3. BASE directory. ______________________ [/usr/siemens/ugs090]
4. O.K to MODIFY system files. _________________________ [Yes]
5. License server (s) or a filename. [[email protected] your computer name]
* Enter item (s) to query or change: [Continue] (enter 3 return car here)
Then change the installation path to/usr/siemens/ugs090 (in fact, there is no need to change, I just to facilitate file management to change)
When it appears
() change dirs) Select required () all 98) None) Load
* Enter Kit or option number (s): [Load] 97 (enter 97 return car here)
When it comes back

9. Modify User Environment variables
Terminal back to User home directory
sudo gedit. BASHRC
In the pop-up text, add the following: (Plus in the end, I was placed in the middle of two fi)
ugii_base_dir=/usr/siemens/ugs090; Export Ugii_base_dir
Ugii_root_dir=/usr/siemens/ugs090/ugii; Export Ugii_root_dir

10. Cracking
Overwrite the cracked file to the appropriate folder.
CD your SSQ file extract directory
sudo cp-r ugs090/usr/siemens/
sudo chmod 755/usr/siemens
sudo chmod 755/usr/tmp
Restart your computer for the configuration file to take effect
11. Create desktop shortcuts and license Server self-boot
Dash> Launching applications > Adding #在ubuntu面板内搜索启动
Name: LMGRD
Command:/usr/siemens/plmlicenseserver/lmgrd-c/usr/siemens/plmlicenseserver/splm6.lic
Note: UG License server
Save Close.
Create a dynamic library link path
sudo gedit/etc/ld.so.conf
Add libsyss.so path to open text:/usr/siemens/ugs090/ugii
Libsyss.so/usr/siemens/ugs090/ugii
To archive/etc/ld.so.conf, execute the following command:
Sudo/sbin/ldconfig
Create a desktop shortcut
sudo gedit
[Desktop Entry]
version=9.0
Name=ug-nx9
Comment=siemens ug-nx9
Exec=/usr/siemens/ugs090/ugii/ugii

Save file to:/usr/share/applications/named: nx9.desktop
Copy the/usr/share/application/nx9.desktop to the desktop
12. Open UG Post-interface customization
Change the side edge resource bar like the toolbar (as if this must be changed, or it will flash back)
Display Resource bar:as Toolbar, Layout, User Interface Preferences, Menu, Preferences
Installation complete, execute ugii, move resource bar, encounter flashback, fortunately I was in the terminal window, according to the error prompt, found that QT different versions between the incompatibility caused. An attempt to update the QT version is not valid. This is because UG NX contains a subset of the QT runtime libraries that are incompatible with the QT library versions in the system, resulting in a flashback. According to the method of a post on the Internet, try to include the name of QT in the/usr/siemens/ugs090/ugii (including subdirectories), and the file with the same name in/USR/LIB/X86_64-LINUX-GNU/QT4 (including subdirectories), such as libqtgui.so.4,libqtcore.so.4,...libqtiff.so, ... Rename or move the location (I moved to the corresponding directory in the BCK directory), or simply deleted, note must be with the System QT Library duplicate part, be careful not to accidentally delete the UG NX own library file, For example libnxqt.so, although the file name contains Qt, is actually UG do their own library files, be careful!
After processing, restart the ugii, the use of half a day no more flashback phenomenon.
