( 1 ) Use entire Drive (use entire disk)

This scenario deletes all partitions on the hard disk and then re-partitions the hard drive. If you have an operating system on your hard disk that you want to keep, do not select this option.

( 2 ) Replace exiting Linux system (replace the existing Linux system)

This scenario removes all gnu/linux partitions on the hard disk and then re-partitions the hard drive. This scenario does not delete the partitions of other operating systems. If you have a gnu/linux system on your hard drive that you want to keep , do not select this option.

( 3 ) Shrink current system (shrinking the current system)

You will see this scenario if your entire hard drive is already occupied by a partition (mostly NTFS or FAT for Microsoft Windows ). This scheme will narrow the partition without damaging the data on the original partition (without affecting your Microsoft window) and install Fedora on the vacated space .

( 4 ) use free space (use free space)

This scheme does not delete any partitions, and uses only the space that has not been allocated to any partition for automatic segmentation. If your hard drive is already occupied by another operating system, this will not work.

( 5 ) Create a custom layout (Create a custom split mode)

This scheme will not help you to automatically split, will execute a program called Disk Druid let you manually split the hard disk, if you have installed another system, but also separate a disk to install Linux, then this way to customize.
