Use epel source for centos 6

1. Download the Installation File

Wget http://rpms.famillecollet.com/enterprise/remi-release-6.rpm

Wget http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/6/i386/epel-release-6-8.noarch.rpm

You can also upload it.

2. Installation

Rpm-uvh remi-release-6 *. RPM epel-release-6 *. rpm

3. View several files in the source file directory after installation.

Ls-1/etc/yum. Repos. d/epel *
/Etc/yum. Repos. d/Remi. Repo
/Etc/yum. Repos. d/epel. Repo
/Etc/yum. Repos. d/epel-testing.repo
/Etc/yum. Repos. d/Remi. Repo

4. Modify enabled = 0 in the Remi. Repo file to Enabled = 1
Sudo Vim/etc/yum. Repos. d/Remi. Repo

5. Don't forget Yum makecache.
