WIN7 installation of CentOS dual system instructions
A Installation Prerequisites
1, Windows7 platform, first look at their computer processor is how many bits, different bits of the processor installed CentOS version is not the same.
Click "Run" on the Start menu, then "cmd", and a command prompt window will pop up. Enter "WMIC CPU getaddresswidth" in the window and press "Enter", this time the window will display a number, usually "32" or "64", this number is the number of computer processor bits.

Because my computer is 32-bit, so choose I386 type

Running Acronis Diskdirector Suite
is starting
In fact, Win7 has its own disk partition function, like my system D disk is the partition function with the Win7 comes out, but the Win7 is not formatted as FAT32 file format, so you must download a partition software
(1) Click Create Partition
(2) Select the unpartitioned unallocatedspace disk and click "Next"
(3) Choose a size of about 10g size, for storing image files
(4) Select logical partition Logic and click "Next"
(5) Select the logical partition SELECT FAT32, click "Next"
(5) Select Yes and click "Next"
(5) Enter the name of this disk and click "Next"
(6) Here you can see the size and type of the H-disk is what we want, click "Finsh"
(7) Click on the small flag above, submit our partition operation, may need to restart.
(8) This H disk is only used to store the image file when the system is installed, but also need an unused disk space to store the CentOS system, in the disk management of the unused disk to format (the data need to be backed up to other disks), my hard disk is not used around 120g.
Do the above steps, the disk should be the following, the drive letter may be different:
1, C (Legacy Windows system disk)
2, D (the original storage of data in the Windows environment of the partition)
2, E (the original storage of data in the Windows environment of the partition)
3, H (FAT32 partition, used to store the Linux system ISO image file and decompression image file, about the need for at least 10G of space, after installing the dual system can delete the image files and decompression files, empty out for Windows use)
More than 40G of free hard disk space is required to install the Linux system
Three Image file ready to prepare
1. Copy the Centos-6.4-i386-bin-dvd1.iso and Centos-6.4-i386-bin-dvd2.iso to the H disk
2. Unzip the images and Ioslinux two folders in the mirror Centos-6.4-i386-bin-dvd1.iso to the H drive
3, the H disk under the Ioslinux folder inside the Vmlinuz and initrd.img two files copied to the H packing directory and the root directory of C disk.

Kernel (hd0,0)/vmlinuz means that the Vmlinuz files required to install Linux are located (hd0,0) (This is the second step in which we have copied the root of C from Isolinux and Vmlinuz under H initrd.img). 0 represents the first hard drive (usually the PC has only one IDE hard disk), and 0 represents the 1th partition of the disk.
