紅帽今天在San Francisco發布了醞釀了兩年之久的下一個重要版本Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5，這個版本讓大夥期待了兩年多，在SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10、Windows Vista、Unix等商業平台的重壓下，終於重裝上陣。最重要的特性當屬XEN虛擬化，還包括核心升級，Red Hat Cluster Suite等等。
