WP7 Architecture Guide:

The Architecture Guide provides fundamental technical information about WP7. It serves as a roadmap to the components and core fundamentals of the WP7 architecture.
WP7 Customization Guide:

The Customization Guide for WP7 provides information about customizing the user interface and other system functionality.

文檔上說WP7是基於WinCE6核心，網上大部分說法是基於Windows Embedded Compact 7 Core。文檔中Kernel Memory Space中不直接分為512MB Cache和UnCache Memory了，需要在OEMAddressTable定義。記憶體位址範圍：0x80000000-last address in OEMAddressTable，也就是說WP7可以突破512MB最大記憶體限制，克服了WinCE6的一個硬傷？

目前Windows Embedded Compact 7 CTP版本已經可以下載了，核心架構應該和WinCE6區別不大。
