Adding an appropriate watermark effect to a text document, slide show, or picture will not only make the document beautiful, highlight the text, slide features and themes, but also add a watermark to the picture to make it more secure, not to be arbitrarily used by others. In Linux, using the word processing and presentation of Yong-Yongzhong office (integrated by the various components of Office, its presentation features the equivalent of PowerPoint in Microsoft Office) and GIMP can produce excellent watermark effects. The following article describes how to use Yong-Zhong office and GIMP, in Linux for picture documents to add a watermark effect.
Add a watermark to a text document
Adding a watermark to a text document is very common, such as adding an appropriate watermark to a report or resume, which will definitely impress reviewers. In a Linux text document, you can add two kinds of watermarks, one is a text watermark, the other is a background watermark.
1. Add text watermark
After you start wing-China office, open the text document in the edit, select the "Format/background/" Item in the main menu in permanent office, click the Watermark button in the lower-right corner of the pop-up dialog box, and then pop up the Watermark dialog box, as shown in Figure 1.

First browse the text in its left Drop-down list box, and if you want to add text in the list, can directly click to select, such as "Company Top Secret", "circulation" and other words; if there is no ready-made text in the list, you can add it directly by typing the contents of the watermark text you want to add in the text text box, such as "Apply", "apply" and other words, the map is "open System World" as a watermark text. Then set the font size next to size, and usually choose large to have the best effect. After the size is set, you have to set the watermark color, the default is translucent gray, there are pure gray, translucent red and red can be selected, generally use the default color. Finally, set the layout options, you can choose the "horizontal" and "tilt" two effects, the default is the tilt effect. Select an effect according to your needs, and then you can see the added watermark in the text "behind", as shown in Figure 2.
2. Add Watermark Background
Adding a beautifully chic picture to a document as a background makes the document you create compelling. The specific method and add watermark text is roughly the same, the difference is that when the "Watermark" dialog box, be sure to click its lower left corner of the "Picture" button, in the subsequent selection of picture file dialog box, select a text document background picture, see Figure 3 shows. The picture format is best in GIF or JPEG format, and the other format pictures are never supported by office.
