Aliyun How to Mount Snapshots (Linux)
If you want to copy data from a snapshot from a previous point in time, you can mount the snapshot to the instance, copy the data, and then uninstall the snapshot.
Attention:
Only snapshots in the same area can be hung. Cross-geographies are not supported.
Data can only be copied out of the snapshot and cannot be written to the snapshot. Data in the snapshot partition cannot be saved, even if written.
Please submit the work requisition to uninstall the snapshot after the operation is completed, or you can reboot the server through the platform, and the snapshot will be unloaded automatically after the console reboot.
To mount a snapshot:
Log on to the instance.
Enter Fdisk-l to confirm the path to the snapshot. The way to judge a snapshot is to have one or more disks than the system would otherwise have.
Before Mount:
After mounting (note: The path of the data disk that is mounted here will change, the path here is/DEV/XVDZ1):
Mount with mount command. Mount command mount Basic usage: Mount/dev/xvdz1/tmp/xvdz (/tmp/xvdz This directory needs to be created beforehand). Perform the df-th view disk before executing the mount command:
Mount process, execute df-th view disk after executing mount command:
At this point, you can copy the files in the/tmp/xvdz directory. Unmount the snapshot mount after the copy is complete, the command is as follows: Umount/tmp/xvdz
After the operation is completed, submit the work order request to uninstall the snapshot, or you can reboot the server through the admin console, and the snapshot will be unloaded automatically after the platform reboot.
