Appendix F built-in template tags and filters
Chapter 4 lists many common built-in template tags and filters. However, Django comes with more built-in template labels and filters. The appendix in this chapter lists the built-in template tags and filters that Django contains when writing this book. However, new tags will be added regularly.
For the provided tags and filters, the best reference is to directly go to your management interface. The Django Management Interface contains a complete reference for all the tags and filters of the current site. To see it, go to your management interface and click the documentation (document) link in the upper-right corner.
The "tags and filters" section in the built-in documentation describes all built-in tags (in fact, the tag and filter references in this appendix are directly from there) and all available custom tag libraries.
For those who do not have site management available, the common tags and filters are provided here for reference. Since Django is highly customizable, the reference to the available tags and filters in the management interface can be considered as the most credible.
