By default, the installation is minimized, or, as required, the desktop is not installed when the system is installed. Now, the desktop environment is installed.
Centos6 is used as an example. It is slightly different. For other systems, see yumgrouplist to find related components.
1. display the components that have been installed in the system and those that can be installed:
# Yumgrouplist
2. if the system is installed at the beginning, minimize installation and no installation of xwindow
# Yumgroupinstall "XWindowSystem"
3. Install GNOME Desktop Environment yumgroupinstall "gnometrictopenvironment"
4. Install the KDE Desktop Environment yumgroupinstall "KDE (k1_topenvironment )"
5. Uninstall GNOME Desktop Environment yumgroupremove "gnometrictopenvironment"
6. Uninstall the KDE Desktop Environment yumgroupremove "KDE (k1_topenvironment )"
