Cosbench Installation
Cosbench is Intel's open-source cloud storage performance testing software, Cosbench is now widely used with cloud storage testing and as a benchmark tool for cloud storage use
1 Environment 1.1 Operating system
Cosbench can be run in Windows and Linux two systems, and in order to better play the hardware and system capabilities, it is recommended to use Cosbench for testing, the choice of Linux system, currently I use the environment is: Ubuntu 12.04 system version;
1.2 Operating Environment
JRE 1.7+
CURL
2 Installation 2.1 Support environment Installation 2.1.1 JRE
For JRE installation, please refer to the JDK installation tutorial, omitted here.
2.1.2 Curl Installation
In Ubuntu system, install directly with Apt-get installation
1. Update the source with Apt-get update
2. After the update, use Apt-get Install curl for installation
3 Cosbench Installation 3.1 downloads
Cosbench Open Source software address: Https://github.com/intel-cloud/cosbench required software and instructions here are recorded; The latest version is v0.4.2.c4 into the tag, download Zip package can:

In the Ubuntu system, you can download it directly using wget:
wget Https://github.com/intel-cloud/cosbench/releases/download/v0.4.2.c4/0.4.2.c4.zip
3.2 Installation
After the software download is complete, use unzip to extract the files. Unzip 0.4.2.c4.zip
After the decompression is complete, the following
Go to the Cosbench directory and add the script executable permissions:
In the directory, the main script functions as follows:
3.3 Start
Before you start Cosbench, run unset htt_proxy
To start Cosbench just run the startup script directly:./start-all.sh
When the following information appears, it indicates that the startup was successful
In the browser, enter the current address, you can browse the Cosbench work interface
Http://IP: Port/controller/
