Run the doscommand in Linux
Linux provides a set of portable tools called mtools, allowing you to easily read and write files and directories from standard DoS floppy disks. They are very useful for switching files between DOS and Linux environments. They are a powerful means of exchanging files between systems that do not have a common file system format. For a msdos floppy disk, you can use the commands provided by mtools to access files on the floppy disk as long as the floppy disk is placed in the floppy disk.
The main Commands of mtools are as follows:
The MCD directory name changes the msdos directory;
The target file of the mcopy source file is copied between msdos and UNIX;
Delete the msdos file with the mdel file name;
The mdir Directory Name displays the msdos directory;
Create an msdos file system on a low-level formatted floppy disk;
The rnlabel drive letter generates the msdos volume label;
Create the msdos directory with the MMD directory name;
The MRD directory name deletes the msdos directory;
Rename the existing msdos file in the target file of the mren source file;
The mtype File Name displays the content of the msdos file.
Tip: these commands are very similar to the corresponding msdos commands.
