Developing a Java Web project using Inteiiij idea

1. Introduction

IntelliJ idea is a very powerful integrated development environment, basically can do anything, it's powerful greatly reduced our workload, improve efficiency. So how does it develop the Java Web? The following is an introduction to using IntelliJ idea to develop the Java Web.

First go to the official website to download the installation package: Http://www.jetbrains.com/idea

It has two versions Ultimate (charge) and community (free), the author chooses Ultimate

2. Installation

Click to download, and then start the installation, always next, you can choose to create a 64-bit desktop shortcut icon, the installation after the first time to open it will prompt (choose the second one has not been used before), in doing it can be developed.

3. Development of Java Web Project (JDK and Tomcat installation I will not introduce)

Start a new project

Follow my arrows and remember to select the Tomcat server in application Server Click New to select the server path

Here's the next step.

Just click Finish.

The following diagram appears directly OK, meaning to create a folder

Create a JSP file

Run the project

Click to run, will automatically open the homepage in the browser

Open just now we created the hello.jsp, directly click on the browser icon can be, do not innocently write its path, is not very convenient
