Discussing the impetuous mentality of learning Java (1)

-- Introduction

"Never be impetuous"-I think this will be specifically proposed in any learning method.

Several domestic forums have been mixed for several years, and even watched the vigorous javaunion grow and disappear. On javaunion, chinajavaworld, dev2dev, javaresearch, CN-Java and other forums, I have met or met many Java enthusiasts, experienced users, and beginners.

In fact, the Chinese technical forum is a very strange and interesting place. A batch of developers have been created here, but a batch of developers have also been removed. I still remember a post on the javaunion forum titled "Why did I still ask questions today two years ago", which caused a lot of debate and thought-provoking. The topic of this article is not the topic of this article. It is just an introduction to the topic I want to talk about today. However, we suggest you think about it later.

As a matter of fact, many Java enthusiasts are still beginners, but many of them are "too ambitious and arrogant. Let's take an example first. This example happened to me, a friend of mine. I think such an example may happen in many people, if you do not pay attention to it.

The problem is as follows:

One of my friends, who used to learn ASP, also worked on ASP Web page programming after graduation. As you know, ASP programming has been getting fewer and fewer in the last two years (of course, the treatment is also generally lower, but Java is getting increasingly popular at this time ). He said he wanted to switch to Java and asked me how to learn it. I said, "read the book first, read the book later." I borrowed a book titled Java core technology-basics, and told him which ones should be read first and which ones should be read carefully, which ones need to be read several times. However, on the third day, he ran and told me that he went to a Java-based company, saying that the company uses EJB programming and that he began to use EJB programming. (Later, I realized that he painted the Image Based on others' examples ).

If things come here, let's take a moment to make up for the Java basics. Some J2EE systems or API knowledge can be supplemented, and the development prospects will be very good.

Unfortunately, half a year later, this friend was still stuck in the programming of ejbs Based on Huludao, with no ground-breaking programming. (I think it should be said that there is no content for him to expand ). However, it is a pity that he still does not seem to realize this. Even when talking to friends, he will proudly say "He used EJB ".

This story is a miserable ending, at least for the moment. My friend, in the face of Java, will only tell others that "he used EJB ".

This year, including the "Java One" conference to be held next year, all share a common topic-promoting Java popularization. In fact, this also tells us in disguise that at least now there are still a lot of Java beginners, and there will be more beginners entering this industry in the future.

The sooner you enter the Java field, the more competitive the majority will be, because your peers have entered half a year earlier than you.

When a new beginner is still reading the concept of Java object-oriented, he finds that colleagues are already reading JSP/servlet, and this industry is already popular with EJB. Eager to learn JSP. After configuring tomcat in a hurry and writing two successful JSP pages in a hurry, I found many colleagues around me began to be keen on ejbs, so I began to rush to compile ejbs. After writing for a few days, I suddenly found that struts was very popular-What is struts, so I started to learn in a hurry. After a few days of study, I went out for a party and found that people around me were talking about Java design patterns. As a result, I started to learn the design model ······

I may be a little exaggerated, but there are some situations in reality.

Of course, this industry is growing too fast. Many things need to be applied when we first understand it.

"Impetuous", many people are stuck in a cycle that cannot extricate themselves.

"Impetuous", also made many people, after several years of Rush, find nothing to learn

Since its birth, thinking in Java has been given the Holy Book in Java. He became the holy book, not how much knowledge it said, How much API. It only talks about more "Basic Knowledge". It tells and repeats that "here is the cornerstone and you will stand here and see farther"

Today, I wrote this article in a hurry. Next I plan to write two "analysis" and "Persuasion" articles ". Where there is a wrong word, look at the axe.

At the same time, we sincerely hope that everyone should not be impetuous when learning Java. Knowledge needs to be accumulated. Ideas are also becoming mature in constant learning and training, while technology is also being developed in constant creation.
