Install Oracle 10g____oracle in Windows Server 2003 Environment

First, the software installation process

1. Double click setup.exe and click "Start Installation"

2. Select the installation path database type is advanced

3. Choose to install the Enterprise Edition

4. Select installation directory

4. Check Prerequisites

5. Choose to install only the database software

6. Installation Complete

Second, create a database

1. Open cmd, enter DBCA, open databaseconfiguration Assistant, click "Next"

2. Select "CREATE DATABASE"

3. Select "General purpose"

4. Enter Global database name

7. Manage options, keep the default settings

8. Enter password for all accounts and confirm

9. Storage options, choosing the default file system

10. Set the database file location, select "All database files use public location", select the address

11. Restore Configuration Deselect "Specify Quick recovery zone"

12. Database Content: Example Scenario Check "sample Scenario", Custom Script keep default "No script to run"

13. Initialization parameters Four option tables can be either maintained by default or modified according to their needs

14. Database storage, click "Next"

15. Create the option and click "Finish"

16. View the summary information, confirm the database, click "OK", and begin to create the database formally

Third, create the listener

1. Open Oracle Configuration Assistant

2. Select Add

3. Enter the listener name, using the default

3. Select Listener configuration, select Protocol as TCP

4. Select the port number and use the default

5. Choose not to configure another listener

Iv. Configure the service name

1. Open the OCA.

2. Select Add

3. Configure the server name

4. Select protocol for TCP

5. Enter host name as native IP

6. Complete the configuration.

7. Use tnsping ORCL to verify the success of the configuration

8. Sign in using Oracle Sqlplus
