1. Download the Oracle 11g address

Basic installation

After decompression, you can install it. Run Setup. EXE and run it in DOS to enter Oracle 11g.

Oracle Configuration Manager allows you to associate configuration information with a Metalink account. You can choose to enable it in this window.

On the installation method page, you must specify your own installation method. Oracle provides two installation methods: Basic installation (I) and advanced installation ()

Basic installation (I): complete 11g installation with standard configuration options (minimum input.

Note: This option uses the file system for storage and uses a password for All Database accounts (sys, system, sysman, Dbsnmp ). Set the installation home directory, installation type, and startup database.

Advanced installation (a): advanced options: set different passwords for different accounts, select the database language, product language, automatic backup, custom installation, and backup storage options (Automatic Storage Management ).
