Recorder is a simple GTK + CD burning tool. Compared with Brasero, there are not so many dependencies. In fact, most of the time, what we need is to be able to burn ISO image files, Data CD/DVD, and Use Recorder.
Install Recorder
Recorder requires pygtk, cdrkit (or cdrtools), and dvd + rw-tools, which must be installed first.
Archlinux: You can use AUR,yaourt -S recorder
.
Gentoo: Use the ebuild file here.
For other Linux distributions, download the tar.bz2 file and run the following command:
Tar jxvf recorder-1.3.3.tar.bz2 Cd recorder-1.3.3 Make install # This step requires the root permission |
Configuration
After starting Recorder for the first time, you must configure "Path to your drive" and enter/dev/cdrom.
