This function is also available in SQL Server Management studio in SQL 2008, but SQL 2005 does not. There are also some in vs2010. The following describes how to use this smart prompt in vs2010.

How does this function come out?

Follow the steps below to create and use the SQL server project to get a smart reminder experience.

Create a new SQL server project, as shown in, because I created the SQL Server 2008 database project here. This prompt is also displayed for the project that created SQL Server 2005.

Import the tables, stored procedures, and views of the database from an existing database, as shown in. Select this database project and select import database objects and settings from the context menu ". The database structure of this database will be imported into this project.

On the import Database Wizard Page, select the corresponding item as required, and click Start to import the data.

Here, the import extended properties option can help us to import the comments added by using sp_addextendedproperty.

After importing the database according to the above steps, we will get the smart prompt function shown in the previous figure when writing SQL in vs2010.
