Windows can ping Linux, but ssh cannot connect. Solution

I. Problem description:

Windows can ping Linux, but ssh cannot connect

Problem 2:

To ensure that Windows can ping Linux, you only need to set them in one CIDR block.

Ex: Windows IP: 192.168.0.1; Linux IP: 192.168.0.100

SSH connection found, connection failed

Solution 3:

1. Restart the sshd service! (Even if port 22 has been monitored, restart it)
Command: Service sshd restart (or/etc/init. d/sshd restrat );

2. Disable the Firewall

Command: setup-> select Firewall

**************************************** *********************

To disable the firewall, follow these steps:

Disable iptables (Service iptables stop or etc/init. d/iptables stop ).

Next, connect to ssh.
