A META tag is an auxiliary tag in the HTML language head that describes the attributes of an HTML Web page document, such as author, date and time, page description, keyword, page refresh, and so on. It has two properties, namely HTTP header information (HTTP-EQUIV) and page description information (NAME). Different attribute has different parameter value, these different parameter values realize different Web page function.

We usually use the "Keywords" (keyword) and "description" (Web page description) two parameters in the Name property when we are searching for search engine optimization (SEO) on the website. In the mainstream of the two search engines "Baidu" and "GOOGLE" for a long time testing, found that Baidu search results rankings and META tags in the content has a great relationship, in GOOGLE also has a certain decisive role in the role of META tags in a page after title. Usage:

4, the big website try not to use the same keywords every page

Second, Description (Web page description)

Description: Description used to tell the search engine your site's main content. Usage:

Skills: 1, should be natural language, not listed keywords (that is, a few sentences compared to the description of the page title and content, not like keywords the list of keywords.) )

2, descriptive content and Web page title and keywords keyword content should be highly relevant (emphasis added to the title and keywords not fully expressed in the description)

3, the description content and the content of the page itself should be highly relevant

4, the description of the text need not be too much (recommended control within 200 characters, the key words repeat three or four times, do not accumulate too much)

5, do not use the same description on every page
