1. New project (working space)
Select an empty Project
Enter the project name and click Finish
Modules is selected by default, click on the small + number above to create the module->new
Create a new Java EE Web application module
Enter module name
Select project Configuration SDK
Select Modules->webdemo->sources-> to create a new classes and Lib two directories in the Web-inf directory (classes is used to hold the compiled output class file, Lib for storing third-party jar packages)
Select paths, select Use module compile output path, and set two directories to the classes directory you just added (custom compiled output directory)
Select Dependencies, click on the right + sign, select the first JARs or directories ... (Configuration dependent)
Select the newly added Lib directory and click OK (dependent folder)
Select Jar Directory->ok
Find index.jsp and add some test content
This is where our most basic Web project is built!
How do I run this project?
Click on the upper right corner and select Edit Configurations ... (edit config)
In the top left corner, click the + sign
Select Tomcat Server-Local
Configure name and other information by diagram
Choose Deployment-> + #-Artifact
Fill in application context
Click OK
So our tomcat configuration is complete.
Click Run to try
You can see that it has run successfully
