In linux, how does one share files ?, Linux shared files
It is easy to share files under the window. You only need to right-click the shared folder and assign permissions. win7 can also achieve multi-user sharing. The specific method is Baidu.
But we want to share files between linux systems, which requires the NFS service.
1. Check whether nfs is installed in linux.
The system has been installed by default.
2. Start the nfs server
3. view the running status of the nfs server
4. Set nfs to start automatically. Otherwise, it will be troublesome to start the service every time you share files.
5. The next step is to share files, such as files under the shared/home/share/directory.
6. Write the name of the machine to be shared
# Vi/etc/exports
Enter the following content:
/Home/share/the folder to be shared is followed by an ip address + CIDR block. The brackets indicate the client's permission to operate the files in the directory, and r indicate readable, w indicates writable, x indicates executable
7. Restart the portmap and nfs services.
8. view the NFS sharing status and client connection information (Note: it is available only after the client is connected)
9. Mount the shared directory on the NFS server on the client.
Mount NFS server ip Address: local directory of the shared directory
I have already mounted
10. Check whether the shared mounting is successful.
11. Check whether shared files can be viewed.
Shared successfully
