FCKeditor is a WYSIWYG text editor that is specifically designed to be in the open source code on a Web page. It is focused on lightweight and does not require too complex installation steps to be used. It can be combined with different programming languages such as PHP, JavaScript, ASP, ASP.net, ColdFusion, Java, and ABAP. The "FCK" in the "FCKeditor" name is the initials of the author of this editor Frederico Caldeira Knabben. It has now been renamed as CKEditor.
To use CKEditor, first download the development package, the official website http://ckeditor.com/to provide the latest version of the download, download after the source code and examples, of course, the official operation does not need these things.
Steps:
1. Need a CKEditor for Java jar Package, I am using the current version of the Ckeditor-java-core-3.5.3.jar.
2. Introduce jar packages to your Web project.
3. After extracting the downloaded installation package, copy it to the Webroot directory of the project.
The directory structure in MyEclipse is:
(due to a problem with the file code being downloaded, my myelipse shows an error that does not affect deployment and startup of Tomcat because it does not need to be compiled and run)
