Linux command lsb_release-View release information for the current system

Description of Use

The Lsb_release command is used to view the distribution information for the current system (prints certain LSB (Linux standard Base) and distribution information.). With this command you can clearly know whether the redhat, or other distributions, there is a specific version number, such as 3.4 or 5.4 and so on. Some systems do not necessarily have this command installed, and you can get the release information by looking at the/etc/issue file.

Common parameters

Format: lsb_release

Format: lsb_release-v

View the version information for the LSB itself.

Format: lsb_release-a

Print all information about the distribution of this system, such as the ID of the distribution, description information, specific version, code name.

Format: lsb_release-d-S

Format: Head-1/etc/issue

View the description of the release, followed by example two, showing this usage.
