First, view the file installation path:
Since there is more than one place to install the software, all the paths (addresses) that are first said to view the file installation.
Here's an example of Oracle. For example, I installed Oracle, but do not know where the files are installed, in which folders, you can use the following command to view all the file path
In Terminal input:
Whereis Oracle
Enter, if you have Oracle installed, displays the address of the file installation, such as my display (the installation address may be different)
Oracle:/usr/bin/oracle/usr/lib/oracle/usr/share/oracle/usr/share/man/man1/oracle.1.gz
As you can see, Oracle is installed in a directory.
If you do not have Oracle installed or the Oracle installation is unsuccessful, the file path does not appear. Only hint:
Oracle
Second, the query run the path of the file:
If you just want to query the location of the file's run file, use the following command (or Oracle, for example):
which Oracle
The results will show:
/usr/bin/oracle
