Virtual Machine Network modefor VMware Virtual software, there are three types of network modes1. Bridging2.NAT3.host-onlyBridge ConnectionBridge Network refers to the local physical network card and virtual network card through the VMNET0 Virtual switch for bridging, so the physical network card and virtual network card should be in the same network segment, Virtual switch is equivalent to a real network switch.  when we want to use the virtual machine on the LAN, to provide services to other PC LAN, such as FTP, SSH, HTTP, then choose the bridge mode This mode can also be Sisu network, but we need to manually configure the default route of the virtual machine, but the internet is generally through the domain name to access the external network, so we also need to configure the DNS server, The general simple point can be configured DNS server address as Google's DNS server 8.8.8.8 or standby address 8.8.4.4 NATThe NAT mode is to allow the virtual machine to access the extranet through the network of the user host by using the NAT function. in NAT mode, the network of the virtual network card and the physical network card is not in the same network segment, and the virtual machine's NIC is in a virtual network provided by VMware.  If you build a virtual machine, only for yourself, do not need other people in the LAN, then you can choose Nat,nat mode TCP/IP configuration information is provided by the DHCP service of the VMNET8 virtual router, as long as the network configuration mode of the virtual machine is DHCP, There is no need for any other configuration, as long as the host has access to the extranet, the virtual machine can be connected to the Internet.  If you want to build multiple virtual machine clusters and use NAT mode, we need to manually set the virtual machine's IP address to static. However, we also need to set the routing address and subnet mask of the network. This can be set up by using VMware's own virtual Network editor. As shown in the following: The DHCP settings are as follows: DNS Settings host-onlyin host-only mode, a virtual network is a fully-enclosed network, and the only thing that can be accessed is a host. This pattern is somewhat similar to a NAT network (^_^) without a NAT service. Therefore, the virtual network can not be connected to the external network, the virtual machine and the host is through the VMware Network adepter VMnet1 virtual network card to exchange visits.
