1. Installation

1. Download the corresponding version from the official website.

2. The downloaded two compressed files are compressed into one folder.

3. Open the folder in the previous step and run stepup. The following command box is displayed.

4. Start the installation. You can either accept the update or reject the update, or do not write the email.

5. Select create and configure a database

6. I chose desktop as my notebook.

7. Select an existing user or create a new

8. Set the path and manage the password to remember

9. Check prerequisites

10. Check for Installation

11. Be patient and wait for a long time. During installation, pay attention to the pop-up blocking box and press allow.

Otherwise, the following error occurs:

Ii. Uninstall

It can be divided into two parts: unmount part, and delete the Registry and other information.

Here, I uninstalled only install the software. The first part shows that it may be different from mine. The general method is the same.

A) Part 1

1. Stop all ORACLE-related services. Find the deinstall. bat file in the installation directory and run it.

My path is F: \ app \ user \ product \ 12.1.0 \ dbhome_1 \ deinstall

Wait for minutes

5. Complete the window and disappear.

Note that if you use the Universal Installer, you will still be prompted to use the command line.

B) Part 2

1. Delete the Registry content.

Run the regedit command in Cmd to delete the following content:

1) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE | SOFTWARE | ORACLE deletes this key.

2) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE | SYSTEM | CurrentControlSet | all oracle-dominated keys under the Services deletion key.

3) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE | SYSTEM | CurrentControlSet | Services | Eventlog | Application deletes all oracle-dominated keys under this key.

4) HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT deletes all keys prefixed with Ora, Oracle, Orcl, and EnumOra.

5) HKEY_CURRENT_USER | Software | Microsoft | Windows | CurrentVersion | Explorer | MenuOrder | Start Menu | Programs deletes all oracle-dominated keys under this key.

6) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE | SOFTWARE | ODBC | ODBCINST. INI registry key, which deletes all key values with ORACLE words other than the Microsoft odbc for Oracle registry key.

7) LOCAL_MACHINE | SYSTEM | CurrentControlSet | Services deletes keys prefixed with Oracle or OraWeb.

2. Delete environment variables.

Delete the environment variable CLASSPATH. The PATH contains the Oracle value.

3. Delete ORACLE-related Files and directories: C: \ Progrm Files \ Oracle directory; Delete ORACLE_BASE directory.

Delete the F: \ app directory. Cannot be deleted. Restart the machine before deleting it.
