Problem solving when installing Ubuntu Kylin

Ubuntu Kylin version of the start-up disk production and installation

1. Download ubuntu kylin (ISO format) image file from Ubuntu website

2. Use the soft disc to make the U-disk Startup disk,

3 Boot into BIOS option long press (ASUS FX50J) ESC key

4. Select Uefi Mode

5. Perform the installation

ASUS FX50J NIC Update

1. Use the LSHW or LSPCI command to view computer information

2. Network card information for 03:00.0 network controller:broadcom Corporation BCM43142 802.11b/g/n (rev 01)
3. Sudo apt-get install linux-headers-generic build-essential dkms
sudo apt-get update (optional maybe)
SUDP Apt-get Install Linux-source
sudo apt-get install--reinstall bcmwl-kernel-source (it may only be possible to perform this step successfully)
sudo modprobe WL

sudo dpkg-i wireless-bcm43142-dkms_6.20.55.19-1_amd64.deb
