Record one failed Linux installation. Failed Linux Installation
This time I installed Ubuntu on the entire computer, and the path to Linux went further and further. I also thanked the society for its improved support for Linux, So that I made up my mind. I would like to express my thanks again.
I used to install a dual-system or a Linux instance installed under the vm. Now I have another installation, but something went wrong.
The first problem is that after the installation is completed, the system cannot be started. It is my own zone. If you use the default installation method, you can.
I tried it many times. Finally, I used PE to check the default installation partition. I found an ESP partition and checked the information: ESP partition.
My guess is that my partition is gpt, and I want to work with UEFI, while Linux uses esp to work with the gpt boot system, and my partition divides all the space, no space is left for the esp partition, so it cannot be guided.
There are two solutions: reserve space for the ESP partition during partitioning (M is enough), or change the gpt to mbr.
I tried solution 2. I used diskgenius professional to change gpt to mbr, and re-loaded the partition. The result was successful.
Solution 1: Let's try it. I hope someone will leave a message about the result and thank you first.
The second problem is that the boot disk of the Linux USB flash disk suddenly fails to be used, and the black screen is displayed when the USB flash disk is set to start, and no prompt is displayed.
After trying for a long time, I finally tried to format the USB flash drive into the NTFS format. I was overjoyed.
I noted down my experiences over the past two days to commemorate my transformation to a Linux development engineer. I hope I will not forget my mind.
