To set OPENDJ Java run memory

Set the JAVA running memory for OPENDJ:

Modify the Java Virtual Machine parameter profile java.properties, such as the file location in/home/bjca_user/bjca/opendj-2.4.6/config/java.properties.

Change Overwrite-env-java-args=false to Overwrite-env-java-args=true

Modify the Start-ds.java-args key To configure Java memory based on the actual server situation , for example: start-ds.java-args=- Xms1024m-server

Add opendjto Linux system services to enable opendj to boot with the system while restarting opendj The service lets the previously modified configuration take effect. Enter the bin directory, for example:/home/bjca_user/bjca/opendj-2.4.6/bin, and run the following command:

#sudo Create-rc-script--outputfile/etc/init.d/opendj

#chkconfig--add Opendj

#service Opendj Stop

#service Opendj Start
