The symptom appears from one side limb first, gradually expands to opposite side or whole body, the disease terminal patient freezes to lie in the bed, life cannot take care of oneself. The first system to describe the disease was the British physician James Parkinson, who said the disease was "tremor paralysis." It was later found that in addition to tremor, there were mask faces (reduced facial expressions, stiff), nervous gait (small rags and faster walking), lowercase (less and less), walking when the upper limb without swinging and other symptoms, said that "paralysis" is not appropriate, so it is recommended that the disease named "Parkinson's disease."

So far, the etiology of Parkinson's disease is still not fully understood, it is generally believed to be related to age aging, heredity and environment and other comprehensive factors. Genetic factors accounted for about 10%, which can be made by genetic assay.

According to statistics, the world has about 4.5 million patients with Parkinson's disease, nearly half in China. China now has 2.2 million of Parkinson's patients. More than 1% of the elderly aged over 60 in our country suffer from Parkinson's disease, about 1.7% of the people aged 65 and over have Parkinson's disease, with a prevalence of 3% to 5% over 70 years of age, which is the "third killer" of the elderly after the tumor, cardio-cerebrovascular disease, and nearly 100,000 new cases a year. WHO experts predict that 2030 years of Parkinson's disease in China will reach 5 million. At present, Parkinson's patients are becoming younger, "adolescent Parkinson's disease" patients accounted for 10% of the total number.
