The five languages were Spanish, French, German, Italian and Japanese, Crowley said in the 2011 Mobile World Conference (Congress). Crowley also said the new app (2.2.5) will support the iphone, BlackBerry and Android.

The current Foursquare service is primarily geared toward the US market, but Crowley says Foursquare has been considering expanding the international market and will focus on developing APIs this year (Application programming Interface). Crowley also revealed that the company currently has 6.5 million users, the number of daily check-in is 2 million times
