While Android Auto can be viewed as a car-mounted GPS based on Android, the "human-car conversation" has reached a new level given the power of Google's now natural language search.

Google then officially released the Android Auto Development kit. Similarly, the new Androidauto SDK allows developers to develop applications for automobiles. The SDK contains a Notification Center API interface similar to other Android systems. Up to now, more than 40 automakers have worked with Google on Android Auto.
