Absrtact: Asia's cloud computing industry group is considering using cloud computing technology and has recently launched two cloud computing measures to help guide the region's institutions.

The cloud-Ready Index and clouds, launched by the Asia Cloud Computing Association, can provide relevant information to help organizations decide how to implement the cloud, or even some annoying problems that hinder their access to the cloud.

The objective of the index is "to identify potential bottlenecks that can slow the future threat of Asian figures". The 10 key attributes of its approach are the deployment and use of cloud computing technology. These attributes include regulatory conditions, international connectivity, data protection policies, broadband quality, government priorities, power grid quality, Internet filtering, corporate benefit indices, global risk information and communication technology development.

Data from 14 countries in the region, including China, Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam, will be culled.

Cloud

Cloud, in other words, is a legend representation of the state of the current state of the country. Starting with cloud computing technology in the region may still be controversial, cloud charts will analyze the current cloud in the form of graphs and determine the benefits and implications of cloud computing and how cloud computing is evolving.

The index will also be useful to pave the way for a smooth implementation of government cloud computing, says Bernie Trudel, Asia's cloud Computing Society and Cisco Asia Pacific CIO.

"National public policymakers are beginning to recognize the benefits of this new IT delivery model and how they can make their countries more competitive." However, they may not necessarily understand the underlying problems of cloud computing, or affect decisions, as data privacy, intellectual property protection, etc. "Trudel said.

Industry associations say global cloud computing spending is expected to reach 30% to 40% of IT budgets by 2013.

In Asia, some organizations have not adopted the cloud. However, the association believes that organizations in Asian countries, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), can benefit from technology.

Opportunities in Asia

For Asia to gain the benefits of cloud computing, the association says, "the region needs to coordinate policies and regulatory frameworks to facilitate efficient trade in digital information and services." ”

"Therefore, it is necessary to have an active forum with Asian focus, which is the goal of Asia in its overall mission and cloud preparation index," said Cioperdahlberg, founder and director of the Asia Cloud Computing Association. ”

"Cloud computing provides a big opportunity for local industry, attracting investment and overseas business, and providing an important impetus to the role of e-government measures, the most insightful country, transparent and impartial regulatory environment will be the most successful use of this new opportunity," said John Galligan, the association's Working Group vice chairman, Regional Director, Internet policy Microsoft.

"The signs in Asia are good, but there is still a recent study that shows that Asia is behind the US and Europe, trailing the cloud through action, and that while larger Asian companies are receiving cloud services, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are slowly embracing the cloud has a huge opportunity, To help narrow this gap and the Asian cloud hopes the new cloud-ready index will help governments and businesses, large and small, to continue to take advantage of the opportunities offered by cloud computing. "he said.
