Carrefour Wal-Mart deposit price fraud 19 stores fined 9.5 million

According to the Daily News, January 26, the National Development and Reform Commission publicly informed Carrefour, Wal-Mart supermarket price fraud, and commissioned the relevant local price authorities to seriously deal with the law. Recently, Beijing, Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Shanghai, Hubei, Hunan, Chongqing, Guangxi, Yunnan and other places price departments in accordance with the relevant provisions of price laws and regulations, strict compliance with the statutory procedures, respectively, the 19 supermarkets involved in the total amount of 500,000 yuan in the legal maximum penalty, a fine of 9.5 million yuan.　　At present, all the fines have been collected by the relevant local price authorities. The National Development and Reform Commission pointed out that the ultimate aim of imposing heavy punishment on illegal supermarkets is to standardize the behavior of operators and protect the interests of consumers.
