Let's fast-forward to the 2016 Olympic Games. In 2012, when the United States Olympic team uniforms for the Chinese-made, and asked to burn the uniforms of Reid or Senate Majority Leader (this is indeed possible), but this time his appeal is: boycott the online Olympic Games live. Why? What a terrible thing! The massive videos that show us Olympic athletes struggling to compete in the 2016 Olympic Games are all stored on China's cloud platform.

In the near future-just four years from now, we may find that not only the last remnants of the 200-year-old American textile industry have been outsourced, even the infrastructure of the 21st century information superhighway has been spared.

The cloud platform is the most developed infrastructure on Earth. 9374.html "> All walks of life in the world economy are migrating to the cloud, from entertainment to pharmaceuticals. According to Cisco's constantly updated forecasts, data traffic is growing at an unprecedented pace, and the numbers and units expressing traffic are beyond the reach of ordinary people: perhaps we are about to enter the era of Zetabyte (the equivalent of 1 trillion GB).

Soon, the Internet will flow more than a year ago. In those data-centric computers, data traffic is already huge and growing rapidly, and information is stored and processed first on those computers before it flows into the entire network. China is reasonably eyeing the market, hoping to meet the growing appetite of the West for cloud services.

For the non-professionals to explain briefly: the data center is a stadium-sized building with tens of thousands of computer chips and huge data storage arrays that consume a lot of power, from which the data center looks like a scene in a Ridley (Ridley Scott) sci-fi movie, or "Star Trek" (Star Trek) the Borg ship. It's just the real world.

China's cloud computing capacity is four times times faster than China's domestic Internet service, and in fact, China's cloud computing capacity has grown so fast that it has surpassed data demand across the Asia-Pacific region. Unlike many other products and services, the huge market for data services exists outside the Asia-Pacific and the opportunities for outsourcing are ripe.

Analysts at Netscribes, India, predict that China's cloud computing investment will grow from $20 billion a year to $150 billion before the next Olympics. This computing power will move the cloud center from the place where the Internet was born--near the Washington DC link--to Inner Mongolia.

Any company that occupies a niche in the cloud computing industry, including industry leaders IBM and Hewlett-Packard, is building a cloud-computing infrastructure across China.

One of the biggest is the world's largest single data center in Chongqing, which is the equivalent of 20 football pitches, which, coincidentally, is expected to be completed in 2016 and is catching up to the next Summer Olympics. The Chongqing data center, costing 1.6 billion of billions of dollars, is three times times the size of Apple's recent massive data center in North Carolina. It is Chongqing's data center and its thousands of-scale facilities that make up the core of an increasingly bloated cloud computing infrastructure.
