China's cloud computing market continues to heat up

Recently, IDC conducted a research survey for enterprise users. The results show that in 2011, Chinese users' investment in building cloud computing infrastructure has reached 286 million U.S. dollars, up 42.0% from the previous year. According to IDC's forecast, China's cloud computing infrastructure market will continue to maintain rapid growth until 2016 when the scale will exceed 1 billion US dollars.

According to a research report released by IDC in China's cloud computing market some time ago, more and more large and medium-sized enterprises have started to build or are considering the construction of a private cloud computing platform to improve the efficiency of their IT infrastructure. Cloud computing infrastructure has become a major goal for the construction of next-generation data centers (NGDC) for large and medium-sized enterprises in China.

IDC vice president of China for the Asia Pacific region, said IDC China president Huo Jinjie said that based on cloud technology, mobile technology, social networking technology and big data technology four major technologies, information and communication technology industry will provide support for the future of the information industry and continue to develop in emerging markets expand.

IDC said that when deploying a cloud platform, enterprise users should pay attention to the following issues:

First of all, in the stage of system design and architecture of cloud computing platform, users should consider several factors: selecting system architecture according to its own business characteristics and industry characteristics, choosing scalable and high-performance hardware platform, and from the aspects of technology and business Guarantee the continuity of cloud computing platform and existing platform.

Second, the creation of an enterprise-class virtualization platform is an essential part of building a cloud computing infrastructure. But just dividing the physical server into virtual machines is not a complete cloud computing implementation.

In addition, these virtual resources need to be further managed, and the resources are dynamically regulated and applied for applications. Porting, development and deployment of applications are also an important part of completing the cloud platform.
