When it comes to cloud computing, you first think about cloud computing providers, with surveys showing that cloud providers do not have a high level of trust among users, and that at least seven of eight information technology people do not trust cloud providers. The data they use are the company's most sensitive data, so it's hard to believe that cloud service providers can protect their data. According to a recent survey by Lieberman Software, most people do not believe the supplier's privileged access to management products. For large companies with a high level of security requirements, the fact that data is leaking without knowing it is dangerous and likely to cause incalculable damage to the company.

As a result, even if cloud services move business into the cloud with obvious cost advantages and flexibility, it is a different story to convince the security team to accept cloud services.

Opacity of cloud security affects cloud landing

"The biggest problem is that many cloud service providers are not sufficiently transparent in their protection," the experts said, "the company will be able to control the access to audit log data and the internal control and visibility of best practices to ensure sufficient transparency." ”

The Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) summit last November conducted a survey that collected data from 300 IT professionals. The issue of security disconnection between cloud service providers and their customers has been the focus of their research. Ponemon Cato found in the study that more than two-thirds of IT managers ascribe responsibility to the security of their cloud service provider's data. Experts say cloud service providers should increase physical safety factors to prevent the occurrence of a server where anyone can access a cloud service provider. In addition, the process by which customers generate trust in cloud service providers is slow, and one important reason is that cloud services do not provide visual security for customers.

But cloud providers aren't doing anything, they're trying to win customers ' trust through open, transparent strategies, not just a cloud of black box. As more and more companies seek to transition to mixed clouds and public clouds, the need for transparency in cloud computing providers is becoming more urgent. There is still a need for continued attention on how to get the success of cloud computing transparency.
