http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/17197.html "> Beijing time January 13 Noon News (SHANGMU) Global Mobile Equipment Supplier Association (gsa, global mobile Suppliers Association claims that 180 telecom operators in 70 countries and regions are deploying, testing or evaluating LTE.

The Global Mobile Equipment Suppliers Association says 128 of its LTE supporters have pledged to deploy commercial systems in 52 countries, and 52 operators have "promised in advance" to test or try LTE in another 18 countries and regions.

According to statistics, 17 operators have launched the commercial LTE service-the network is located in Austria, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Norway, Poland, Sweden, the United States and Uzbekistan. The Global Mobile Equipment Suppliers Association believes that the number will increase to 64 by the end of 2012.

Hayden, chairman of the Global Mobile Equipment Suppliers Association, said: "LTE made great progress in the 2010 and became the fastest-growing mobile system technology." We anticipate that the introduction of LTE systems and client terminals will be greatly accelerated in 2011. ”

One reason for the rapid success of LTE is that LTE has more deployments in emerging economies, at least in the pilot phase, unlike the early development of 3G, which is concentrated only in developed countries.

Uzbekistan is the first country in the world to have 2 LTE operators. At the same time, a number of important test nets have been deployed in Africa-globacom, Nigeria's second-largest operator, claims to be Africa's first LTE business service provider, launching its main enterprise-oriented service in the capital Lagos. Vodacom in South Africa (Vodacom) and Kenya Safaricom also conducted LTE tests.

However, the data show that most operators will continue to test LTE in the next few years or in "hot zone" small-scale launch.

Some operators have downplayed the advantages of Verizon and TeliaSonera, the early LTE commercial, claiming that their LTE launch was a PR effect, not a real business outcome, at least in the first year. T, which claims to launch its 4G service, is working to strengthen its current hspa++ platform until it gets the best LTE cost and frequency bands that are common in the US and Europe.
