Last week I received a call from an old customer who hadn't been contacted for years. Their company intends to make significant changes to the business process that has been in operation for five years, and my previous colleagues suggested that they call me and ask me what I suggest about the changes in the business. This is the case: they intend to build the first unified mobile sales team in the company's history. Instead of letting 150 of field sales staff configure mobile office equipment as they wish, the company would prefer to adopt a unified standard equipment. This change will be a big shift from top to bottom, with the company's overall strategy, workflow, equipment, and software standards to be changed accordingly. And my client called me for advice on only one of the issues involved, that is, the current four of their backup software, which is the most suitable for the newly established mobile sales team. After listening to the four solutions that he introduced, I found that the top two solutions were based on cloud backup technology, which is appropriate for a relatively small group of users in their company. So I explained this to him and asked him if he could successfully integrate cloud technology into the company's existing data center products. Hearing about the combination of data center and cloud technology, he immediately thought about data security issues, information control issues, and enterprise data is not controlled and so on frequently asked questions. So I explained to him that the current sales staff carrying notebook mobile office, has said that the enterprise data is not safe, and through backup and a series of security measures, can ensure that the use of cloud technology is safe enough. Then I gave him some links to the recommended vendors. Backup to mobile and remote users is a good way to evaluate cloud services on an existing platform environment. The enterprise can easily experience its performance and its impact on IT support, and deployment is simpler than other architectures. And my old colleague sent me an email this morning telling me that the client had begun to receive a training course from a cloud service provider.
