In an interview, Bradley pointed out that HP was not abandoning the webOS system and would invest further in the platform; the company preferred to split the PC business and set up an independent company, and he would continue to lead the department to remain a global leader; the strategic transition will not affect the Chinese market and HP will continue to focus on China The Chinese strategy of PC business is made in China and made in China. Split is the preferred option Bradley said the spin-off of the PC business as an independent company is HP's preferred option, and the board will conduct a strategic assessment of the results, with a minimum of 12 weeks to come, but may make a final decision by the end of the year. He pointed out that if HP spin-off PC business, will be conducive to continue to demonstrate PSG market leadership, innovation, service flexibility and responsiveness. The independent company will also be the world's largest and most profitable PC manufacturer with a wide range of product lines, overall capabilities and excellent leadership, while other PC vendors do not have the strength to acquire HP's PC business. Bradley also denied rumours that he would leave HP. He said he was fully committed to developing HP's PC business, hoping to continue to lead the sector as the world's most successful PC company, and that a spin-off of HP's PC division would attract greater growth opportunities. Bradley entered HP in 2005 in charge of the personal systems department. In his six-year lead, HP overtook Dell to become the world's largest PC maker, with an annual revenue breakthrough of 40 billion dollars and revenue growth of more than three times times. Bradley's retention is also seen as key to the continued growth of HP's PC business. Asked why HP changed its decision 5 months later, Bradley explained that the shift in corporate strategy was due to the rapid changes in the PC sector, while Hewlett-Packard announced a new strategy in the area of cloud computing in March, planning to build infrastructure and provide personal, private and public cloud services. He pointed out that HP is a very wide range of companies, in order to promote the success of the business, the company will be the overall level of business review, and decided to conduct a strategic evaluation of the PC business. He stressed that Hewlett-Packard is a listed company, the role of management is to promote the best shareholder returns, Hewlett-Packard's decision is to promote the company's performance, partners and employees responsible. HP PSG will continue to maintain a positive market competitiveness, leveraging innovative products and solutions to provide ecosystems for customers and partners. Focus on the Chinese market in the second quarter of this year, China's PC shipments have surpassed the U.S. as the world's largest PC market. As the world's largest PC maker, China is HP's most important market, Bradley reiterated. After Hewlett-Packard announced a strategy to evaluate its PC business, the first overseas market that Bradley visited was China. China is the world's second-largest business location, says Bradley, and the Chinese strategy for HP's PC business is made in China and made in China. He pledged that HP PSG will be more focused on customer base: High-end user base, mass user base and common consumer group, will continue to improve overall operational efficiency, and will continue to provide to increase customer satisfaction of products, services and support. He said he had met hundreds of Chinese business partners and government partners, and discussed extensively on how to continue the growth of China's market and the company's new strategy in the future. He said China's partners are excited by the spin-off opportunities faced by HP's PC sector and are bullish on both sides ' prospects for a mutually beneficial partnership in the Chinese market. Hewlett-Packard is also the first foreign PC manufacturer to build a manufacturing base in western China, and the company has established good cooperation with the Chongqing municipal government through the construction of Chongqing Manufacturing Center, he said. The experience of the Chinese market is of great global significance to HP, which is of great significance to the company's localized product development strategy. According to IDC data, HP's PC market share in China was 8.5% in the second quarter of this year, measured by shipments. Bradley admits that the Chinese market is growing strongly and that competition is fierce, but regardless of the final structure of the PC business, Hewlett-Packard will fulfill its commitment to customers, keeping services, responsibilities and commitments unchanged. Continue to invest in webOS last April, Hewlett-Packard announced a $1.2 billion purchase of smartphone maker Palm, gaining the webOS operating system. This February, Hewlett-Packard announced the introduction of the webOS based tablet computer touchpad, and officially shipped on July 1. In response to reports of HP abandoning the webOS system, Bradley first clarified that HP was not abandoning the webOS system but not regeneratingProduce Touchpad Tablet PC. He said that HP will continue to invest in webOS systems in the future, drive the system to grow, create an ecological environment, make webOS software simpler, model and easy to use, and seek the support of global partners. Earlier, Hewlett-Packard CEO Leo Apotheker told Bradley and Rubinstein (Ron Rubinstein) that they had given up the mobile platform for webOS, according to the Wall Street Journal's technology blog AllThingsD. In response, Bradley said the company's management had discussed the weakness of webOS equipment sales before making the decision, and ultimately made the most shareholder-benefit plan. (Zheng)
