IBM announced its new investment plan today, as well as releasing a new flash storage device. The device uses the acquisition of Texas Memory BAE Flash management technology, operating at speeds up to 20 times times the traditional hard drive and can store up to 24TB of data.

IBM has decided to invest more in flash technology, mainly because more and more customers are eager to have newer and better technologies to manage the vast amount of data before they face trillions of photos, videos and text messages.
