In 2013, analysts say, big companies will spend more on cloud services, and they will also have stricter requirements for the security of cloud services. A survey of the development of cloud services shows that the Australian market is its early adopters and is now more mature, reflecting a broader global trend in cloud services. A new study of cloud computing confirms that companies are moving from in-house deployment services and new cloud services applications to external devices and services, a major trend in the development of the Australian cloud services market, while Gartner forecasts a 22% increase of more than $30 billion trillion in 2013.

Matthew Oostveen, director of IDG Research, observes that one of the hallmarks of a mature cloud services market is the outsourcing of IT infrastructure to external hosting. "We can see the rapid development of collaborative positioning services, and it is clear that collaborative positioning services are supported by a flood of new data centers in the market, and these new data centers are provided by NEXTDC and Macquarie Telecom, which has just built many new facilities." ”

Telsyte senior analyst Rodney Gedda also believes that more and more companies are starting to choose externally hosted cloud services. In addition, Gedda predicts that 2013 will bring a series of new cloud service applications in the marketplace, an innovative result of application testing and development. "We look forward to seeing cloud services bring more new application types, as well as more choices as data and infrastructure are hosted, bringing more enterprise-class application hosting services." He predicted so.

Companies can expect future cloud technology to provide more powerful services, and Robert Hillard, the technology director at Deloitte Consulting, agrees. He said that "file and document sharing, collaboration can enable enterprises to achieve faster growth, but also in the traditional governance of enterprises to get more support." ”

The vice president of Gartner says all of today's sectors of cloud technology services are growing in market share. He also believes that the business process of BPaaS (business process as a service) and advertising services will be a significant part of the 300 million dollar cloud service support. Business spending on SaaS (software as a service) will grow by 28 percentage points to more than $4.7 million trillion, while operations in LAAS (infrastructure services) will grow by 55 percentage points to $385 million trillion.

As the share of the external hosting business increases, the security concerns of enterprise ecosystems increase. The key challenge for future cloud service providers and service providers will be to improve the security level of their products. According to Gartner's report, by 2014, 40% of companies will need suppliers to provide more stringent independent safety test certificates before buying cloud services.
