Electricity consumption in Guangdong has declined by about 10% although the argument that the economy is warming has been seen in newspapers, there is still no sign of a rebound in electricity generation as an economic "thermometer". According to the latest statistics of the National Grid Company's Unification Center (hereinafter referred to as "the National Adjustment Center"), the output of our country in late May fell by 5.7% Year-on-year, and the decline was enlarged by mid-May. The May decline in electricity output continued to narrow in April, with the average daily output down by about 3.5% per cent in May throughout the month. After discounting such factors as holidays, the decline in electricity output in May continued to be narrower than in April. National Center data show that April total monthly output fell 3.55%. Among them, in late April, the national electricity generation fell 3.2% year-on-year, narrower than the middle. In addition, the National Center data also shows that in May, southern Hebei and Yunnan province, electricity production is significantly better than the country. This is related to the increase in steel production in southern Hebei and the support policies of Yunnan province for high energy-consuming enterprises. But in most of the areas where energy-intensive industries are concentrated, electricity generation is still hovering low. In May, the power consumption in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous region of Shanxi province decreased from 5% to 6%, higher than the national level. In the south-east coastal region, electricity consumption in Guangdong province has declined by about 10%, and Shanghai's electricity consumption has fallen by about 13.6%, and in Zhejiang Province by about 6.1% per cent, above the national average. Electricity supply and demand will present the overall balance of power generation and the reasons for the decline in electricity consumption, at the press conference held on June 1, the National Development and Reform Commission deputy Director, National Energy Bureau Director Zhang Analysis, the main reason for the decline in electricity consumption is secondary power demand decline. In the first quarter of the whole society's electricity consumption decreased by 32.4 billion-kilowatt, which is mainly secondary, reduced by 51.61 billion kwh. At the same time, primary's electricity consumption increased by 978 million kwh. The tertiary industry has increased electricity consumption by 7.017 billion kwh. Electricity consumption of urban and rural residents increased by 11.21 billion kwh. Others believe that the May holiday time is relatively long, due to the 2008 Dragon Boat Festival holiday in May, this year's May late work day than last year less. By deducting this factor, output in late May has shown signs of rebounding compared with late April. Entering the June, the peak of electricity consumption in summer is coming, the power supply becomes the object of attention. Reporter from June 2 held the National Grid company to meet the peak of the summer production safety of the television Conference was informed that this year, the peak of the summer period, the national network of power supply and demand of the system to show the overall balance situation. Among them, the northeast, Northwest power grid more surplus, north China, central China power grid balance, East China power grid basic balance, the Tibetan area of power supply and demand situation continued to be tight, Shanghai, Zhejiang and other power grids in local areas, part of the period may appear power supply and demand tension situation.
